Kamala Incense Burner for Incense on Rope

The Kamala handcrafted incense burner—meaning lotus flower in Nepali—is specifically designed for burning string incense. Once the end of the string is lit, you can proceed in two ways: fold it and place it on top of the spiral, making sure it doesn’t touch the edge, or place the thicker end in the central hole of the incense burner.

Straight incense is a traditional format originating in Nepal, where it has been used for centuries. To make each string, aromatic powder is placed on a piece of lokta paper, which is then rolled by hand. We suggest the following three fragrances:

Sandalwood – Meditation and relaxation
Juniper – Purification and regeneration
Patchouli – Energy and creativity

Your little ritual in 5 steps
Choose a quiet moment to dedicate some time to self-care.
1- Intention is fundamental when performing a ritual. Write your intention down on a piece of paper.
2- Choose the incense that best suits your goal. Prepare the place where you will burn it, making sure it looks tidy and beautiful.
3- Light the end of the string and wait a few seconds before blowing out the flame. Place the note with your intention under the incense burner and put the string over it.
4- Get into a comfortable position and close your eyes. You can sit in a meditation posture or simply in a chair. Focus on your goal and visualize how the smoke releases obstacles and your goals become reality. You can complete the ritual by playing a Tibetan singing bowl.
5- Remain like this for a few minutes. Then open your eyes and observe the wisps of smoke. Let a feeling of gratitude fill you.
We recommend that you repeat the ritual for several days in a row.
Do not inhale the smoke directly. Ventilate after use.
